Tibor "Ted" Juracsik. The Tibor corporation first revolutionized the
industry with the introduction of the Billy Pate Fly Reel in 1976, and
has continued to produce extremely advanced, reliable designs
through their Tibor line of reels since 1995. "Ted" is a native of
Budapest,
Hungary and was the youngest Hungarian to earn his
Masterpapers in the tool and die trade. He assisted in efforts to
resist Soviet oppression, and for this he was forced to flee to the
United States in 1959. After developing a passion for fly fishing, he
has applied his genius to develop fly reels capable of handling the
extreme conditions found in difficult fishing locations as well as the
stresses applied by extremely large fish.
